She attended Pennsylvania State University, and advanced her training with a six-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. She is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, as well as many local and national organizations.
